LEEPAAC is proud to offer an annual Regional Explorer Conference. During conference, explorers live in the dorms of a hosting college campus for five days. Over the week explorers compete in teams and as individuals in simulated police actions with awards given for the top teams or individuals in each event.
At the LEEPAAC conference, every explorer participates in every competition event!
Competition teams are comprised of 3 or 4 explorers from different agencies. This ensures that explorers learn to work cooperatively with other agencies, are exposed to different approaches to situations, and most importantly that when an explorer wins an event, the victory (and trophy or medal) is awarded to the explorer, rather than the agency.
If you would like to provide input into the planning of the 2012 Conference, please attend the monthly LEEPAAC meetings or contact a board member with your input.
